Accessible Rhode Island is a guide to Rhode Island restaurants, libraries, museums, cinemas, and cultural sites that have been surveyed according to the American with Disabilities Act of 1990. Visit Accessible Rhode Island to find recreational opportunities in Rhode Island for people with disabilities.

NFB-Newsline uses the latest digital technology to bring blind and visually impaired readers an easy-to-use telephone service that "reads" all the text from various newspapers across the country.  Users can easily choose which newspaper, section, or article to read with the use of a standard touch-tone phone.  By following a touch-tone menu, you will be able to access today's, the previous day's, and the previous Sunday's newspaper. You choose the newspaper and voice you prefer. If you wish to receive an application, email info@nfbri.org.

NLS Kids Zone is a web page for children.  The site offers an online search engine to locate children's books in the national collection, lists great books to read, and links to fun websites for kids and their families.  Kids Zone may be accessed through a link on the National Library Service home page or directly at NLS Kids Zone.
