Mock Newbery Discussion

Each January Rhode Island librarians gather to select a "Mock" version of the Newbery award. The Newbery Medal is awarded annually to the author of the most distinguished contribution to American literature for children published in the United States during the preceding year. The Award is restricted to authors who are citizens or residents of the United States.

Join us for the second of three book discussion meetings to be held in the Fall and Winter. The list of books to be discussed is available on the OLIS Children's Services web page. Please send your book suggestions to Cheryl Space .
