Wal-Mart Grant for Youth

Wal-Mart is donating $100,000 to fund the Idaho Commission for Libraries (ICFL) Strengthening Library Services for Youth in Idaho project. The donation will be distributed in the form of mini-grants to Idaho public libraries. Library Scooter Service

The Metropolitan Library System, a membership-based organization serving academic, public, school and special libraries in Chicago has several libraries offering scooter service in the library. Similar to the scooter service provided in supermarkets, libraries in Illinois as well as other states such as  Tennessee and Virginia own scooters that they lend to disabled library users to maneuver the facility.
