OLIS Raffle Winners at RILA

[June 4, 2009] The Office of Library and Information Services supported the recent 2009 Rhode Island Library Association conference and staffed a table in the vendor area throughout the conference. OLIS promoted various services, including the new digital machines available from Talking Books Plus, WebJunction, AskRI and Protecting the Past RI. On both days, OLIS held raffles.

Thursday’s raffle winners were:

Marilyn Sherman, Maury Loontjens Memorial Library - a collection of indie films
Cindy Lunghofer, East Providence Public Library, a book on New England land conservation
Trish Brennan, Rhode Island College, a portfolio of reproductions of Abraham Lincoln portraits with curriculum materials

Friday’s raffle winners were:

Aaron Coutu, Greenville Public Library, a book on New England land conservation
Cheryl Banick, Veterans Hospital Library, a photo-documentary book on healthcare

All raffled items were previously donated to OLIS.
