[May 23, 2007] The Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS) requires that the Office of Library and Information Services submit a Long Range Plan to set broad strategic direction for the use of Library Services and Technology Act (LSTA) federal funds, to inform Rhode Island libraries of the agency's direction, and to meet statutory requirements. A new Five Year Plan (for the years 2008-2012) will be submitted to IMLS by June 30, 2007. An evaluation of the current plan (2003-2007) was submitted to IMLS in March 2007.
Comments on the new long range plan are welcome.
