This is an opportunity to attend the Library Advocacy Institute, Friday June 24, even if you're not in Chicago for the ALA Annual Conference. Download the workbook, follow along, and interact through a web browser, Internet access, and a phone line (for audio). The time is 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Access is free, however registration is required.
This Institute is targeted to the beginning library advocate, including Trustees, Friends of the Library, as well as library staff in all types of libraries. The Institute will also be archived and will be available for 30 days free of charge on the ALA website.

The operator will ask for participant name, organization and email address. Participants will need to access the web portion of the program at the following address: conferencearchives.webconcentral.com/55832. Please enter participant name where indicated, and click the "Join" button.
