Issues Discussed

1. Replacement for Elisa Jepson. Is another representative from a special library necessary?
2. Reports on results from individual training were made. All connection and e-mail issues were resolved.
3. Planning for an open meeting in May was discussed. Questions arose concerning the feasibility of the open meeting in May. Discussion followed, leading to the question of the charge of this committee, since the LORI committee is on hiatus.

Decisions Made

1. Another representative from a health sciences library is needed, instead of someone from a special library. It was also decided to that a representative from the school libraries would be helpful.
2. Follow-up training is needed with URI, Pontiac, Eleanor Slater & Newport Hospital.
3. It was decided that the "open meeting" would be pushed back until the fall.

For Next Meeting

April 27 meeting will be a planning meeting for our May 25 open session.

Actions

1. Chaichin will get a recommendation from Tovah Reis for a health sciences library representative.
2. The new health sciences representative will work with the hospital libraries needing follow-up training.
3. Sheila Carlson & Donna Longo DiMichele from OLIS will be invited to the May meeting.
