For information on talking books and other services for the blind and physically handicapped. TBP is a general library collection of books and magazines in alternate formats, such as cassette and braille. Eligible individuals and institutions may apply for service. All materials are loaned free of charge and sent "Free Matter" through the U.S. mail. Machines and cassettes may bereturned to libraries, where they can also be sent to DSL through the delivery service.

The National Library of Medicine's automated ILL request and referral system used primarily by members of the National Network of Libraries of Medicine (NNLM) to which most RI medical libraries and academic libraries with medical collections belong. Docline is similar in nature to other automated ILL systems such as OCLC PRISM.

FirstSearch is an OCLC product which allows for online keyword searching of a variety of databases. It is an effective tool to be used for verification and location information and provides additional options including full text and ILL referral.
