ILL Clearinghouse for referral on OCLC

The OLIS ILL Clearinghouse will request materials from OCLC on behalf of any LORI library when they are unable to find the item in another LORI library.  The Clearinghouse will search for citations whether monograph or serial; subject request should be send to Shared Resources at Providence Public Library (online forms for subject requests are available).

Request items from the Clearinghouse by any of the following methods:

  • Use the online forms choosing DSL as lending library
  • Find the citation in FirstSearch and choose ILL as the option to obtain the item
  • Fax a copy of the completed ILL form to 222-4195.  You can print a copy from the web in the online forms area or we can send you one.  But you must make photocopies for future use.
  • Mail the completed ILL form to DSL through the delivery.

Contact:  If you need to talk to someone about your ILL call Kelley at 222-5753.  If Kelley is unavailable, call Chaichin at 574-9307.
