The Governor's
proposed budget for
Fiscal Year 2012 (Executive Summary, Appendix C) provides for the following state aid to libraries. Level
funding has resulted in 22.41% apportioned to each municipality rather
than the law’s
recommended 25% of eligible funds expended in FY2010 as described in RIGL
29-6-2(a); maintenance of effort is 100% as set forth in RIGL
29-6-3.
A printing error resulted in the wrong table being inserted in the budget;
please note that the correct amounts are listed below.
