Speed Spanish Plus classes were held in May, June, or July. They consisted of a 6-week online course supplemented by in-class practice sessions with a native speaker and teacher. The courses were offered in 3 levels: Spanish I, II, and III. There are currently no Speed Spanish Plus classes offered. However the online classes are available through CCRI, Lifelong Learning, through Ed2Go.
Outreach Workshops: The last workshop was held Monday, July 17, 2006, at Exeter Public Library. A total of 9 workshops were held and a total of 98 library staff members attended one of the full-day workshops. For those who missed the workshop, WebJunction has an online course based on the same presentation, lists of resources, materials for working with computers and Spanish speakers, and an ongoing discussion forum.

Subgrants for Library Services to the Hispanic/Latino Community were provided to five libraries. Reports on their activities will be posted in early 2007.
