From 95S: Take 95 South to State Offices Exit (23); bear right off the exit, getting immediately into left lane; take left and follow the road passing a Shell gas station on your left (1st traffic light) and the Providence Marriott on your right (2nd traffic light); turn right at this light onto Orms St. Turn left at the next traffic light onto State Street; take first right into parking areas. The Department of Administration is housed in the Powers Building, the second building (pink marble) on the left. The first building you see is the Health Department.

From 95N: Take 95 North to State Offices Exit (23); exit forks, stay to the right, but get into the center lane; go straight through the light, and take the first right into the parking areas. The Department of Administration is the second building (pink granite). The first building you see is the Health Department.

Parking: Parking lots are open to the public after 9:30 am; parking spots are subject to availability. Parking at coin meters (quarters only) is also available on Smith Street in front of the building, and on the sides on State Street or Park Street.

Handicapped Parking: All handicapped parking is in the garage under the building. The entrance ramp goes from the parking lot towards the building. Push the call button on the gate control, Capitol Police will answer via the intercom; state your business and they will remotely raise the gate. Follow the signs to the handicapped parking near the garage elevators. Take the elevator to the ground or first floor, and then transfer to the building elevator to reach other floors. When exiting the garage, the gate will lift automatically.

Security Procedures: All visitors must register with the Capitol Police stationed in the 1st floor lobby. Visitors will be given a visitor's badge. See additional security procedures under the office locations below. Upon leaving, visitors must return badge.

Office Locations

• All offices are located on the Fourth Floor
  Take a right off the main elevators and then an immediate right down the hall. Follow signs to the Library and Media Center (first room on the left).
  Library staff will direct you to individual offices. If the library is not staffed, please proceed through the library to the second row of cubes. Staff here will be able to assist you.
